Redrick Steven’s work explores the stories we tell ourselves as a species. These stories, fictions and folktales shape our lives in sometimes unseen ways.
Sightings is a collection of paintings that explore some of these stories that exist on the fringes of culture. Alien encounters, Manx fairy tales, cryptids and mythi- cal monsters are plucked from history, transformed and mixed together with Redrick’s own sets of stories and lore.
