The artist and researcher Aitor Saraiba works in different formats, drawings, ceramics, paintings and embroidered textiles.
The creations of this creator are based on a complex and sentimental approach in which references to magic, classical culture and popular wisdom appear, fused with an important autobiographical substratum.
A graduate in Fine Arts from the University of Cuenca, Saraiba is also the author of award-winning graphic novels such as El hijo del Legionario (2011) and Nada más importa (2013) and poetry collections such as Por el Olvido (2018) and Me encanta cuando tus garras acarician mi alma (2019) and has participated in artistic projects for the MUSAC (Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Castilla y León), the Museo Thyssen-Bornemisza, the CA2M (Centro de Arte Dos de Mayo) and La Casa Encendida, among others.
